Petersen for Nedeljkovic is pretty much a lateral move. The only way Nedeljkovic returns a 2nd is if he's traded with a 1st.

With Kerfoot already familiar with the system and players in Toronto they aren't going to value Veleno that much.

Since being partnered with Maatta Hronek is playing his best hockey to date.

There is absolutely no way Yzerman brings Lucic to Detroit and that's if he'd even waive.

Zadina doesn't have that much value.

No thanks on Petersen, he still has 2 yrs @ $5,000,000 per after this season.

No thanks to the Veleno trade, And i seriously doubt Toronto's giving up that much for a 3C/4C

Maatta is worth more than a 3rd and 5th round pick, And the picks need to be now. Not 3 drafts away.

No thanks on the Bertuzzi trade, We don't need Lucic nor would he waive for Detroit. And we don't need Kylington when our LD pipeline is our strength.

And Zadina comes nowhere close to netting us 2 2nd round picks.
