Description

I'm not 100% a fan of bringing back Campbell and/or Sharp but put in the right roles and maybe it will be OK. Not committed to anything beyond next year. Bonino signing would give the Hawks a strong 3rd line. Defense may struggle but they have over $2,000,000 in cap space if they need to sign anyone or make an in-season trade. Could always throw in a mid prospect to add to Montreal deal.
I know Galchenyuk isn't great on the draw's but neither is Anisimov. Galcenyuk gives Kane a replacement for Panarin to play with.

Penguins would match the Bonino offer. Either Hawks don't have enough money or the Penguins sign him. No way he goes to Chicago.

I agree with you. I don't see the Hawks landing Bonino. I'm not 100% sure he stays with PIT either though. (But again, certainly a greater chance than CHI) He's 29 and this is his last chance at making serious retirement money. He can probably get the most money on the open market.
