Ignore the trades. Just looking at players and $ from my last AGM. Sevs is a known goner. Bratt doesn’t agree to a lt deal and will get traded by next deadline. This is probably a bit too top heavy. Wood costing so much on the 4th line isn’t sustainable going into peak contention years. Mac’s a goner with how well AS is playing

Bratt's contract I think will be in around the $9 million mark - close enough to what you gave either Debrincat or Meier that he is very likely to stay a Devil.

Given how deep this Devis team is, and just how good, I am not sure Fitz is going to go big fish hunting this offseason. I could see him finding a more suitable 3C, maybe a blueliner but that maybe it.

Also, as good as Hughes and Nemec look, I wouldn't rush them either. Quite possible they make the team, but finding a one year deal type to allow further development may not be a bad idea.

I'd say yes to this but I'm one of the dumber sharks fans.

My logic is NJD's 23' is going to be so late because they're so good this year, so why not get a right shot defensemen with a great name at 20th OA to go along with Holtz. Screw it
