Even if Horvat is worth two 1st at trade deadline, MTL would easily beat that offer for Lafreniere.

I'm not sure I'd be giving up 1sts as the Habs for the next couple years.

Montreal doesn't really have any big upgrades for the Rangers other than Suzuki and Caufield who are probably untouchables.

They are a good player away from making a real push for the cup. They have to take advantage while they still have Shesterkin locked into a team friendly contract.

Something like FLA first 2023. Xhekaj and a Luke Tuch would beat Bo rental Horvat and cover a more urgent need for NYR. Top 6 physical left d man.
