Description

Without Heiskanen on the ice, Dallas has had a pretty significant issue moving the puck from their blue line since letting Klingberg go this past offseason. Gostisbehere, for all of his faults, is a pretty solid puck mover and could give the Stars 2 defensive pairings that are reliable with the puck on their stick.

Domi fills out the final top-9 spot that Gurianov was supposed to grow into this season & gives the Stars some scoring help outside of their top line.

Funny because I was thinking about the same two players for TDL acquisition just this morning.

Since Stranges is a pretty interesting prospect, I would try to squeeze Dobby to Arizona in order to keep Hakanpaa and run this instead:

Just send Suter in the press box for all I care.

But, even with those moves, I don't believe that this is a SC contender.

I don't see ARI doing that, not enough coming back in my opinion. Stranges is not that interesting to be honest. Blümel is okay but not enough, the 3rd doesn't tip the scale either, for me.

I think the Hawks ask for the 2023 2nd instead of the 2024 2nd since Guri is going back and there is some retention on Domi
