Petersen's contract is horrible, but there are worse outside of Seattle. Bobrovsky for example. Kings decline obviously.

Bob can at least play average at the NHL level

The cap relief for LA is key here and Ghost is a proper partner for Drew

Bobrovsky is a 2-3M goalie making 10M lol.

Ghost is not the proper d partner for Doughty, he has Anderson. Kings already have an often defensive liability in Durzi, they do not need another.

Petersen is playing well again in Ontario. It’s too soon to sell him. If he keeps this up when they bring him back, he’ll be worth his contract. There’s no need to sell low or mortgage the future.

Tell me you don't know about any of these players and their value without telling me you don't know, other than Durzi's liabilities

The point is Bob can actually play average NHL play at his position as opposed to being a total liability

"Defensive" dmen are a waste of cap space
