Sweeney won't move Lysell for a rental, And with the 4.5m bonus overage on Bergeron and Krejci. No way can Boston afford both Horvat and Pastrnak long term.

Sure if they can sign horvat right away like they did with Lindholm last year I can see a move happening. Idk about that particular deal.

The UFA Horvat trade as constructed is best for the Canucks, not Bruins.

BOS is currently strong up the middle for the '22-23 playoff run (#1C to 4C group are above average, top-6D are in upper percentile league-wide, and the G-Men NHL rank (guess the #____)).

Unless Horvat comes with a future contract signing and it's team-friendly as Pasta's would then have to be too, then the TDL will be depth and pieces NOT a costly "UFA splash" taking out the #1 prospect/1-2rd picks for the re-tool/build which is looming.
