I would agree.

Add in paying that much for JVR and Gavrikov seem like bad ideas too.

That 7th round pick going to Detroit was a nice touch

Bokk = Bust, There's a reason why he's playing back over in Europe. He's not very good.

Drury+Bokk+Carolina's 2023 1st round pick (28th to 32nd overall) + a 2023 7th round pick isn't getting you Larkin extended. Switch Bokk for Morrow and Yzerman definitely considers it.

Drury+Morrow+Carolina's 2023 1st for Larkin extended at $8,500,000 x 8 yrs i'd do that if Larkin was willing to take a discount to play for one of the best teams in the league.

Larkin would be nice but seems like he’ll extend and if he didn’t we’d need to juice that offer.

Gav will likely get more but I wouldn’t want to spend much on him. We need a third pairing type guy and can get somebody for much cheaper.

I don’t mind JVR as a backup target but it’s not the top 6 piece we should be focusing on. Seeler could be a nice under the radar add for our third pair tho.
