Probably not enough to get Meier. As far as the D man I'm thinking about 3 of them offhand. Gudas ( If Florida isn't in a wildcard by TD) Edmundson or Schenn. All block alot of shots .

Part of what i wonder is how Holtz is valued in NHL circles. He has the draft pedigree and the skill but at the NHL level he hasn’t put it together yet. Has had AHL success so i feel like he’s still a top prospect. At least prospect wise i don’t feel like Carolina has a guy at Holtz’s level, even though they have tremendous prospect depth it seems

A playoff shot blocker for the third pair definitely seems reasonable. If the price for Gavrikov from Columbus wasn’t so high i think there’d be a good fit there

What about Jake McCabe in Chi? 20th in block shots, 85 in hits, has term. Will cost but it's what Fitz said he wanted, no rentals.

He’s a solid player too, would be a good pickup especially with some salary retention. Sounds like he’ll cost a pretty penny though so depending on what assets the devils would be willing to spend we’ll see
