Description
I've gone over this countless times this year. I keep going back and forth back and forth on if this team should be making moves at the deadline. Yes we are exceptional at developing prospects no matter what round they are selected in, but we have a pretty thin pool, and a lot of guys we do have are several years out from even cracking the lineup. We turn mediocre picks into stars or specialists who create their own playstyle and become super valuable. But do we continue to dish out high draft picks ?

I just don't know what to do frankly. I'm sure JBB has cards up his sleeve as he always surprises.

Another addition in the Deadline trials has me basically standing pat and only adding Nash who played I thought phenomenally last year on the 4th line with Maroon and Bellemare in the ploffs. We don't have a lot of reliable, keep it simple, low error hockey options that we could call up. Gemel Smith is a guy I could probably trust although I havent seen him play this season. Obviously you could bring up ABB, Koepke, Goncalves, Ryfors, Fortier.

I just think we need a guy like Nash who is having a stellar season in the A and has familiarity with playoff hockey.

On defense we have Raddysh who I would probably call up and play before I put Foote or Fluery in, unless its really early in the series, like game 1-3.

What to do what to do.

Comment if you have some **** to say.

As always thanks for reading.

-If anyone has any idea as to why his contract isn't listed I'd love to know. I read that he signed a 2 year AHL deal with the Charlotte Checkers (FLA aff.)
Not sure what the specifics are for that type of contract. If it permits playing in the NHL cause its strictly an AHL deal, then basically just trading for the rights to sign him. Being that its Florida, doubtful they want FC if their best friend in Tampa is asking for something they have so I just threw in a 7th from Anaheim.

Apart from slam dunks, a few diamonds in the rough/hits, Mackenzie Weegar, and Devon Levi, by and large the Panthers are pretty garbage when it comes to drafting or developing players prospects. One of the two, I'm not sure which

I'm good with standing pat. I think Raddysh played well in the few games he played here, but if he were better than Fluery or Foote he'd be up. (see Nick Perbix.)

Yeah maybe so. just what i saw from those few games has me putting more faith in him to play smart hockey down the line than the other two, even tho both of them are probably better overall if you line them up side by side.
