A couple things.

The Kings aren't going to load up for a run this season. Their window isn't open yet. They'll make moves that make sense for the long-term, but there's no way they can afford both Chychrun and Gavrikov next season, so Gavrikov is a pure rental, and that's too much for a rental.

Pretty good bet that Arizona is on Petersen's 10 team no-trade list. The Kings won't trade him unless they have a replacement goaltender lined up. They're still counting on him to be at least the backup next season. If a deal comes along that makes sense that will allow them to move his contract while obtaining a replacement goalie for next season, they'll consider it, but it's unlikely something like that is available at the deadline. More like a move for this summer.

Keep MacDermid away from my team. Been there, done that. You thought Durzi was bad defensively...
