Devils trade is significantly better; I don't think it's even close. The only thing I think Vegas could be offering that's keeping them in it is unprotected future firsts.

Vegas cant offer anything better. Let’s be honest, the devils got permission to negotiate an extension as of this morning. The deal will be announced after Timo’s extension is completed. The writing is on the wall.

If Vegas does this they are screwed for the foreseeable future. They’ve depleted their prospect pool more and more every year just to acquire a big name player. Brisson is probably their last best prospect.
