Man I'm excited...I do worry about their grit but we will see.

Grit really isn't a concern...in fact the ability to play "tough guy hockey" is very over rated. Ability to fight, and doing things like dirty hits, face washes, etc does not make a team tough to play against.

What makes a team tough to play against is (just to name a few):
Play with pace
Strong along the boards (win those puck battles)
Commitment to team defense
Relentless backchecking
Clean play in the neutral zone...those NZ turnovers are a killer!

For sure NYR are a better team with a healthy Kane...but unless (as a team) they clean up whats mentioned above, they wont be long in the playoff push. Other hand -if they do these things, and get the PP going, and get Shest going....they are a Cup contender.
