Description
Who should play on the third pairing D?? I'm guessing Forbert makes it in the lineup for playoffs because of his size so do Gryz and Clifton rotate after that?

And I also think they will start with Debrusk up on the top line and Bert with Hall. But eventually put Bert up there on the top line for some extra boost in scoring

Bertuzzi to the first line is one of the worst takes I’ve ever seen.

Do not f’ing touch the top six. If you’re wondering why, look at the standings.

Extra boost in scoring from bertuzzi? Debrusk is scoring at like triple the rate if not more.

DeBrusk will probably stay on the first line. If there's a change, I'd try him with Krejci and Pastrnak with Zacha on the 3rd line. We'll see over the next weeks but Orlov should be able to play with all three RDs so either Orlov-Clifton or Orlov-Carlo would be my 3rd pair so they have three strong pairs.

Orlov-Carlo

Lindholm-Clifton which has been a great pair this season. Again, there's no need to assign a number to the pairs, I see it as three great pairs as you have McAvoy, Lindholm and Orlov each on a different one (similar to Hedman/McDonagh/Sergachev). This allows to the team to have a shutdown pair in Orlov-Carlo and free up Lindholm for more offensive situations along with Clifton. Grzelcyk-McAvoy do their thing with top6 lines.

It can also be Lindholm-Carlo and Orlov-Clifton.

I think the latter is better. When the going gets tough you’re going to want mcavoy and lindholm to be getting around 25 minutes a night, and its tough to do that with that hyper balanced approach.
