Description
We're not getting Bedard. I think that's obvious given our draft lottery luck. Maybe Yzerman goes after a Center who can help. We have a ton of draft capital to make it happen. Probably unlikely but. Edit not sure why but I kind of want Boeser

Yes you’re thinking like I am but I’d go after even bigger fish than PLD. I’d trade our 1st and the Isles 1st with Kasper as part of a package to land a 1C. I’m not saying Larkin isn’t a 1C but imagine how much better we’d be of he was our 2C? Target number 1 has to be Elias Pettersson, aim high. I’d trade our pick unless we win the lottery. As good as this draft is, how many players end up better than Elias Pettersson? Bedard almost certainly but I wouldn’t even bet on Fantili being better.

Every French player that’s any good gets connected to Montreal but most don’t end up there.

I would love Pettersson but Vancouver can't be that stupid. This way we keep Kasper and have enough dough to sign Raymond and Seider when it comes time.
