Description

Well I'm hoping we hit our bottom right now and this next week. Home ice vs Toronto is probably gone at this point even though theres obviously 20 games left. Tampa has never cared about home ice in the past, but they have had some rough outings defensively on the road this season. This team always manages to turn it around, and at the position they are at, it feels like they could peak right as the ploffs get going. Another brutal game today in so many ways yet again. Out to lunch on defensive coverage being my main focus the last few games and really all season. Everyone is thinking about the other end of the ice, instead of protecting the house like Fort Knox. Hedman's injury is concerning. Not a chance we can take Toronto if Heddy is out. We will obviously need Cerne back too. Eyssimont has looked good again today in regards to his energy levels and defensive coverage in a new system. Best player today has been Fluery. The bar isn't very high, but he has looked great and is the only player who hasn't made a fckn mistake today. Moving his feet and the puck with purpose.

Lack of offensive production is absolutely ridiculous. You can't couple that with playing horrible defense and expect to lose by anything less then 3. Masterful game by Carolina
