Description

Keep in mind, this is how I would really like the next few months to play out. I am not trying to gaslight anyone so I would actually like some valid critiques on how I can make this better.

Context: Habs win the 2nd pick overall in the 2023 Draft Lottery. If they keep the 5th pick (currently tied with Philadelphia), they’ll pick Smith or Michkov, whomever is available.

Fantilli is sent back to the NCAA for one more season. He will be a 1C within 1-2 years becoming an excellent one-two punch with Suzuki.

With Florida’s pick, Montreal selects either Cristall at 13 or I could see them trade it (perhaps to NYR with their 2024 2nd for Lafrenière?)

Lafrenière would be a Dach-type trade. NYR would probably want a roster contributor, therefore I’ve included Anderson. Dvorak could also be an option to bolster their centre ice.

Neither. Laffy is signing a new deal with the Rangers, but keep dreaming. And no thanks to Anderson at any price.
