Where's the potential $87 cap coming from? Last I heard it was most likely $83.5...I've also been on vacation, so I probably just missed it tears of joy

Would certainly open up a world of possibilities for a lot of teams.

Good question. I'm not sure it is but it's a popular move among Edmonton fans. I guess the thinking is the offense would be so great that an average defense doesn't matter?

But I do think Karlsson's defensive ability is underrated. And they just added Ekholm too, so things should be better going forward.
