Flyers would definitely consider, Especially if that pick is in the 14 Range. I think they'd probably accept

As an outsider without a horse in the race, I think that Konecny deal is both a serious overpay and a strategic error.

That pick could well develop into a player of significant value -- perhaps close to Konecny in value -- on an ELC just as Konecny's contract is expiring (even if the guy you draft is a RhD instead of a forward). The Sabres came close to the playoffs this season and with the additional experience and development, should come even closer next time, but Konecny probably won't get you much further than you'll get without him. And then the season when you'll actually become serious contenders will be his last on his current deal. And doesn't this consign Jack Quinn to permanent third-line status? And where does Isak Rosen fit in if you don't trade him in the Vejmelka deal? (Where I think that you'd be much better off including one of your three LW prospects rather than one of your two RW prospects.) And giving up your first two 2023 picks just seems like an overwhelming overpay to me, even without the additional 2024 second.
