Description
Cuylle, Othmann, possibly Zac Jones will be necessary for the team next year because cost effective ELC.
After chytils new deal hard to imagine Miller gets less than him because he plays top 4 D and more minutes. He could sign cheaper deal for 2 years but I think would be smart lock him up for longer 3 or 4 year deal. Maybe he takes same exact deal as chytil we'll see.
Would have to trade goodrow for the flexibility to resign Laf and Miller and round out top 6. Does Kane take huge paycut to stay? Does vlad take less for more years because of injury problems and down year statistically?..
Should be a fun and interesting offseason. Bettman you jackass you've been hinting at possibly raising cap more than just 1Mil. Would be nice to get a little more breathing room another 1 or 2 Mil would go a long way for a lot of teams.

Man the rangers are probably the most interesting team too watch in this off season. You still went over with a 22-man roster. Laf looks like total offer sheet bait at that cap hit.
I agree they should keep vlady though

I do think Taresenko would take a discount to stay there. But not that much of a discount unfortunately.

I think it would be easier to keep Kane seeing as he's already made 95% of his career earnings and he specifically wanted to go to NY and nowhere else. Maybe he takes a Bergeron or Giordano type deal

Pure fantasy thinking they sign Laffy for that (will most likely hit 40 points this season). Also pretty obvious that Vlady and Kane is rentals. It is true that of the two Vlady been better so far. But since Panarin can't play with offensive minded players it makes more sense to sign cheaper, forechecking defensive minded role playing players.
Krieder should be 3rd line player next season of he continues like this.
