Description

For health on their Columbus should have been a much better team. Werenski missed almost all season, Bean at least half a season. Laine in and out. They still have Gaudreau, I expect Johnson to be better on his second season. Jiricek will make a immediate impact and if they pick 2nd overall Fantilli could join and became their second line center. On paper this top 6 forward and top 4 defense (with the trade I made) Columbus should be a more better team then last season.

Feel like one other move would be to add another goalie to tandem with Elvis, not sure if Tarasov is quite ready to be a backup

Tarasov is not waiver exempt. He will be the backup. I see the Jackets signing a vet goalie that can pass through waivers easily and could provide assistance at the NHL level if needed.

Probably add a younger player or prospect but I think they take this as long as LA doesnt go on some wild cup run and that pick ends up 32nd or something lol

Can’t see the jackets wanting provorov. I think graves or soucy are better fits

Disagree. Provarov would be perfect. His contract is for two more years at a very affordable rate. He would allow us two years to develop Mateychuk and Svozil to take over.
