We need more guys that can defend, but also have hands and can actually get the puck up to our forwards quickly so that the opposing d men aren’t on top of them as it arrives. Our back end also struggled against the forecheck this year, so he could help with that as well. I’m not saying he’s Bobby Orr, but at his price (and especially the one above) I’d gladly welcome him and pair him with Petry.
