Don't set your hopes high. Expect disappointment and you'll never be disappointed in your life.

On a more serious note, I know its proclaimed just how much Bedard is going to change a lucky franchise, but we will have the chance to draft a top line forward at any pick 1-5. It simply just means we would likely have to tank for another year in 2024-25 rather than having that be the year we start to put things together. If we don't land Bedard, things will be okay

Yeah. Exactly. Bedard would be great, but he alone isn't going to fix CHI. There are tons of great projectable players in this draft and the next couple drafts. You don't need a generational talent to build a contending team. Even Edmonton has had a hard time contending when they have the best player in the world. Relax and trust the process. If you watch as much junior games and video as I have this past year or so, you wouldn't be worried about not getting the 1st overall pick. The draft is going to be great regardless of where we end up in the top 5.
