I'm fine with those FA signings for Chicago, but none of those trades.

This is no time to try to slap together a contending team. Stick to the plan.

Hawks don't make any of those trades. Just because they lucked into Bedard doesn't mean they scrap their entire rebuild plan. They aren't trading away 5 picks and a high end prospect. I agree they'll spend money to sign a few UFA's but they aren't trading away that many assets for veteran players.
