The trade with Toronto is laughable.

How is it "laughable"? Vatanen is a top-4 defenseman and Ritchie is a young LW that can grow playing with Matthews or Marner/Nylander. Also Vatanen being out the beginning of the season matter that much because he Leafs will make the playoffs and what they really need him for is down they stretch and in the playoffs.

Ducks DO NOT need a long term 3rd line center. People keep making these proposals and it blows my mind. Look at our potential lineup next year. Steel is a year away and will be on an ELC. Jones is coming up too. Keep the d intact because losing Vats will seriously hurt the Ducks' chance at a cup. Bieksa is absolute trash. If he plays, there won't be a cup in Anaheim. Trade Vats after the season, and not for a center, but for picks/prospects instead. The '18 draft looks really good.

The Ducks '18-19 top 9 looks great as-is with:
Raks - Getz - Eaves
Ritchie - Kesler - Silf
Jones - Steel - Perry

I think everyone except the people who play and pay Bieksa realize that about Bieksa. cough cough (caryle and murray) cough cough.
