The truth is is that if it was 2 for 2, Matthews/Marner for MacKinnon/Rantanen and all players had similar term left on deals, it wouldn't be such a far-fetched idea. The inclusion of Makar definitely makes this especially silly though grin

Even 2 for 2 moving superstars for superstars is always a dicey area both teams alienate their fan bases while not really improving or gaining assets.
