Last year we got a Calgary 1st for 6.7M in cap relief and we got Monahan who was tradeable.

Now you are asking for 9M in cap relief, for less than a late 1st.

Seems low

Based on the Monahan deal, which at least was giving MTL a player at a position of need...Habs pass.
