I like this a lot, but idk if Vegas would want to do that trade tbh. At surface value it looks like they are giving up a bit too much for Provy

Chychrun went for #12 overall and two seconds. Lindholm went for a first, two seconds, and two players. I think he’s not far behind - especially since he has plenty of term left on his deal. And the first rounder from Vegas is a very late pick.

There’s no doubt Provorov is better. It’s not debatable, but 2 years with 4 million more, then god knows how much on the next contract compared to keeping our first and second and 5 more years of whitecloud sound a whole lot better especially with our cap the next two years, then it’s time to pay Theo…

Not just that…Whitecloud was and UDFA we developed and paid. It wouldn’t be a good look to those future ones if we traded a guy that took a pretty good hometown discount imo. Could have signed 2-2.5 for 3 years but added way more years

This is just a very hard pass
