Good, I dont like Addison, seems low for him but also fair based on the fact he was a healthy scratch the back half of the season, I dont see the need to resign him, especially because he will most likely ask for 1.5M+, which we cant afford

Capitals need to add young defenseman on the right side and I see that working well for them, obvious Minny doesn't need him in their system. You may be able to swap the pick for a prospect in their system.

Is there really any room for Addison though? We all know Carlson isn't going anywhere and Jensen+TvR just got extended for 3 more years, so unless they want to push Haman-Aktell or Alexeyev out of the lineup and play Addison on his off-side, I don't see a way for him to play. Plus, with Iorio already making his Caps debut, I can't see them making a move to stunt his development path.

Iorio still needs more time in the minors, he did not look comfortable when he played up. He is going to need to develop before the Caps even consider bringing him up again. Ideally, I would say they trade Jensen well he is still worth a fair amount as he is only going to regress over the next few seasons and they could get a pretty good package for him at the moment. Maybe a draft day deal.
