fair enough, if he stays healthy he can score 40 though, and even then if he only plays 60 and scores 23 goals it would be better than anything else we have imo

The wings are paying perron more right now then they would be zucc after this trade, theyre the same age basically and zucc is a better producer… i dont see why you guys dont take the chance for a year

Better option to have than Kubalik or Perron, idk why you guys wouldnt take him, its not like you are giving up that much, hell youre getting retention on him so hes only being paid 4M instead of 6

O’Rourke isnt a scrap hes a very solid defensive defenceman prospect. Steel could help their bottom 6 and Foligno could bring a much needed leadership role and good physicality.

Steel could still be a decent bottom 6 center and O’Rourke is a defensive defenseman prospect that could play solid minutes in 1-2 years as well, i feel like the deal is fair but i wanted to try to keep faber/wallstedt/rossi

Lindholm and Boeser
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Minnachu</b></div><div>Too much for Boeser even retained. I'd prefer Rossi in there for Lindholm.</div></div>
I dont think i would, Rossi is not ready yet imo, and yet i dont think he ever gets to being a 1C, middle 6 at best, and yeah the boeser trade is a lot but its a late first and a second which i think is fair value for the scoring he could bring which is needed because he is a great shooter when healthy, steel is there just because i dont like him and wanted to get rid of him

Maybe Rossi, Foligno and 2024 1st rounder.</div></div>
The assumption comes with an 8x9M extention in this case, and yes i am playing very loose with first rounders, F THE PICKS, (not really but this was just an idea i had)

Even if they don't value picks and are trying to win now (which they should) steel has good potential and tbh is prob better value for money than Boeser rn</div></div>
I get he was a former first round pick but the only thing he has to him at all is decent hands, i dont value him high so i moved him here, the picks are for retention and boeser could use a change of scenery imo and this team needs more scoring which boeser can provide, yes we need centers but that can be obtained elsewhere, Rossi is coming up, they still have other prospects as well, i think its a win-win for both sides

Boeser idea
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Lightman13</b></div><div>I honestly would be interested in some sort of trade for lindholm in Calgary. If there was some sort of rossi/Addison/1st type deal for lindholm with an extension but final year retention I think it would make sense. With zucc, foligno and hartman off the books next season they could potentially make an extension work for one year of cap he’ll then be off to the races. Likely unrealistic, but was just my thought</div></div>
Yeah i tried that one out, 2 firsts, this years VGK second, O’rourke and Bankier for Lindholm, with an 8x9 extention for the start of the 24-25 season, seemed to please most people and i thought it was fair

Zuccarello is good, he still had 67 points in 76 games, i get his contract is a lot and he’s getting old but he’s a UFA at the end of next season and we can get him for cheaper then hopefully

Building off the last roster i made
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Logicalicesports</b></div><div>This seems like a massive overpayment for Lindholm. He has become a great center don't get me wrong but you are losing a top tier prospect, a good defensive prospect, a younger center that can be a 3rd line maybe 2nd line guy if the pieces are right and a mid-first this year. On top of that 2 2nds and a fifth. Its absolutely too high of a price to pay when you could potentially have Kuzy from the caps for only Khusnutdinov and a second.
Granted he is a couple years older than Lindholm but he has the same type of offensive capabilities for a cheaper price tag and your young guys can develop for a center role in the future.</div></div>
The reasoning for the package is that Lindholm is young, is a very good defensive center and is a almost 70 point player and with Kaprizov i take the assumption his game will elevate to a PPG, also with Khusnutdiov I dont see how he fits into the wild lineup when they have Gaudreau, and JEEK locked up long term, and they will have Rossi coming up, and he’s too valueable to play 4th line center so for that reason i got rid of him, I think its fair but the only piece i would move out of that trade is either Spacek or one of the 2nd rounders

I’m pretty sure we could, i can make a 24-25 roster with him at that extension showing we can afford him with some moves

This trade doesn't do anything for them</div></div>
Spacek is a good defenseman, but I wouldn’t mind adding a Lambos or O’Rourke, and you got a replacement at center if you let Rossi develop, idk why Vancouver would be in market for a goalie, yes Demko had a bad down year but he’s shown he can be solid and he should be their goalie for the future, 2 firsts could definitely get Vancouver somewhere I would think

No, from a Cap and Personnel perspective, JEEK is unavailable, idk why we would trade the only decent center we have for a winger we dont really need, value is there i guess, but we cant give him up, he’s unavailable for the foreseeable future
