Rheinhart makes 1 x $6,500,000 and Girard makes 4 x $5,000,000 Sorry Florida isn't retaining $2,500,000 on Reinhart for one season while taking on a more expensive player in Girard for 3 additional years.

No offense but you seem to be in of loop, top 4 puck moving defenseman who’s excellent at zone exits. Which seems to be the panthers crux this Stanley cup final, more expensive!? I don’t see your logic with how Damon severs on just got a huge extension and this is cost controlled for years.

Girard has been mediocre the past 2 seasons and he’s usually bad in the playoffs . Reinhart is a 30 goal selke caliber top 6 forward.
