Description
i don't think it makes sense to keep colton especially in a bottom six role and he hasn't shown enough 2 way play to be used more (in my opinion) in the top six, because each line needs responsible 2 way players added to them in the top six because they already have the skill.

i don't think many teams will actually be offering minnesota fair deals or skillful players in return because of the situation they are in under the cap. this might not be 50/50 fair but it does help them with cap relief and getting a skillful player in return eligible for a long-term deal who has one in a diminished role. if a mid draft pick is needed to even it out then tampa would probably walk at the deal

I think the issue is; how is this team better than last year's variant?

They are both UFA's after one season, personally I think colton is worth a pick in the 25-35 range and he is decent defensively but he really shines on the forecheck. Unless killorn takes a big discount I would just keep him, he just needs more ice time

I think that most of the top teams in the league will be seeing regression next season so I think the idea for most of these teams is to just not loose too much. I think the only top 16 team's that are getting better are kings, devils, maybe kraken

I'd argue this third line would be very intimating on the forecheck and physically. Hartman has good hands, just needs a finisher with him

I think Tampa needs to look at expiring UFA's because Hagel is up and don't know how big that contract could be.... save the money on colton and killorn and give to hagel next offseason, expiring contracts allows for that.. don't think stamkos new deal will be that much less
