I think they will still be good but after losing Graves and Severson they will not be as good defensively cause Hughes is not gonna be great defensively and Nemec and Bahls probably aren’t as good defensively as those that they are replacing… yet

Not sure what happens with holtz Idt anyone has a clue so we will just have to wait and see. I see Foote competing with lazar for 4LW and smith being the 7th D
I would love for the devils to let Tatar walk and sign barbashev instead he would be a great fit and addition but plan B is resign tarts. I do hope they resign haula and I think they will. I’m hoping to maybe see more production wise from Palat this year. Not that he was bad but he should be producing more

I really hope they sign barbashev if they can they would be a really good idea

Free agent wingers are just bad business, especially for term. Barbashev has had truly one good year. The amount of guys signed off a hot playoffs that turned ugly is staggering.

Try and make something of Holtz, Foote, before burning money on UFAs that seem to make every other team's winning window shorter.

I'd do Zucker before I'd do Barbashev and they'll be around the same number. Zucker had close to 200 hits, has played on a Penguins team thats been through it all, and good for around 30 goals. He's not big but he plays a big game
