Description
Just realized I didn't save the description. oops.

Idea is the following:
-NYR and NJD won't trade with each other
-NJD has Zacha, Zajac, Hischier and Boyle who can play top9 center roles and lack defense
-Vegas has an abundance of Dmen

So Vegas trades Colin Miller+ to NJD for Henrique and the Rangers acquire Henrique from Vegas. Rangers get theit 2C for cheap money, Vegas gets their futures, New Jersey their reinforcement on the back end and everyone's happy. yay!

I don't love the Stall buyout this year but the trade is a good idea. I like it. I would try to move Holden and buyout Stall next year if you could.

Including DG buyout, Rangers save 6.4M this year, 5.5, 4.5M on the remaining 3 years of Staal and DG on contract than Staal last year save $6.2M. If the cap keeps going up and you have younger kids playing and learning at the NHL level, I still think a Staal bo may be beneficial for the team. Also, Beregzelov can opt out if not on the roster and he doesn't play some games so it also I feel is important to get him to play. Don't want to waste his possibility being a solid 3rd pairing dman. Maybe 2nd if in Smith 3/4 years he dips a little bit.

That package from NYR to VGK looks like it would be accepted facilitate the deal and get value for Miller.

Issue is that NJ likes Henrique at $4M and a 1for1 deal with Miller isn't sufficient. NJ might consider a Neal for Henrique swap though. Just spitballin.

VGK would get back a veteran pivot. NJ would still have Zajac, Johansson, Hischier/Zacha as their top 3 centers. Not bad.

Kudos for outside the box. Especially like the inclusion of the fact that NJD won't deal with the Rangers, which means they would still Nix if they understood Vegas' intentions. Still, I like the deal.
