    A 2024 3rd is not enough to get rid of Mantha's cap. Would probably cost something like a late 1st, like it did for Monahan, Marleau and others.
    I think the better option for WAS is a hockey trade, 1v1.

    Im not trading Dvorak for mantha if im the habs... especially if they offer a 3rd to take him as a dump instead

    No chance till cost a late first. Maybe a 2025 2nd but I am assuming it'll be around a third. One of the insiders said they heard a team might actually pay for him (which I doubt).

    If it were to cost a late first caps just keep him or buy him out

    Yep. Zero chance it's costing a late first. Mantha's possession numbers are good. His finishing is where he struggled. Didn't help he spent half the season on the fourth line or scratched rather than next to Strome where he should have been all season. Thanks Lavi for tanking his value and confidence.

    Team looks great. If Arizona wanted a little more for Schmaltz I'd do it still probably. Fehervary probably gets a little more money but you've got cap space to make that work.
