Avs decline. Very easily. They might be interested in Rico but Newhook won't be going the other way. Your best chance of firsts or anything equating to that was either last year or maybe at this year's TDL. There's also very little uncertainty around VN. He's cleared to play by the league. No investigation going on and the Avs expect him back (there is talk he was expected back for round 2 last year if they'd made it past Seattle).

I would rather keep Newhook, who is 22 and still shows room for improvement, over Henrique who is 33.
