Lol, youre taking one of the best and most crucial parts of this team away? That makes all of zero sense.

What you should be doing is trading Goodrow. Secondly, there is no way Miller resigns at 2.75m.

Trading Kreider is a terrible idea. Ranger fans have been waiting for him to become a consistent player that scores and the last two years he has scored 88 goals and 131 points, PLUS, in the last two playoffs he had 10 goals and 16 points in 20 games and then 6 goals and 9 points in the 7 game series loss to the Devils. He and Shesty were the only two Rangers that played well in that series. He has become a true goal scorer, is one of the best net front guys in the league, has become a very good and dangerous penalty killer, AND...he shows up in the playoffs. How many Ranger players can you say that about? And his cap hit is a steal for all he does. And you want to trade him? No thanks.

DeBrusk is also likely to cost just as much or slightly more, so it doesn't provide much cap relief either.

Love Kreids too... was just poking around here.
Tbh... if you put him OTB for bidding war, with his contract, you may get a huge overpay.

Again , I'm not in favor of moving him, he and Zibanijad belong on top line, together....

Agreed, but on planned on 1 year of him.
With Panarin around 3 more years and keeping the kid line intact, RW will continue to need to be a cap related acquisition. DeBrusk would offer affordable, big time potential on RW with Zib/Kreider, a contract year for him too. Just may have his best season on way to long Cup run.

Again, I like Fredric. Believe he can be a top 6 fixture with grit, net front and board play and increased scoring. That and he just looks like he's tough as hell to play against.
