If I'm WPG. I'm taking that deal for Helly. But, there won't be retention because Helly will sign a LT extension.

I agree... 50/50 on Helly obv want him cause of his talents but the AAV scares the daylights out of me

Exactly. That was my rationale for taking the deal. I would almost take Holtz straight up for Helly, but getting Vanacek and the 1st makes this a HUGE win for WPG.

Ya, this is only good for NJD if Helly signs a reasonable "TEAM FRIENDLY" LT deal. Maybe 5 years at $7M?
