I’m not going to say it’s a good move because I don’t like Perry even a little bit… but at the very least it just means the hawks are surrounding Bedard with NHL veterans of a… variety of skill sets.
The hawks likely won’t have a lot to sell at the deadline this year and I think that’s fine, if Raddysh has a good year he might be worth something at the deadline, same as Kurashev if he’s locked up for a reasonable amount. Maybe one of our two retention slots is used to sent Perry or Foligno to a contender but keeping them if also fine.
