Kostin will sign a 1 year deal. The reports that he wants $2m is somewhat correct, he wanted $2m from a Canadian team due to the tax situation. His offer for the KHL is $900k tax free. He will take a little less to be in the US (where the taxes are much lower).

Ras and Kostin are big bodies. You could see Ras partnered with Kasper to have another C on the line to lighten the load (yes, Fabbri played C, but he’s much better as a W. Ras has some good qualities as a C, even if it’s not his best position).

Absolute line blender for the bottom 12, especially on the W. Zadina stays, and gets playing time.

Johansson starts on the LHD until Edvinsson is cleared to play. After that it’s a crapshoot.

Still need another Dman, and a goalie.
