Description

Here we gamble on Duchene on a 3 year 11.3M contract. Trading Foligno and Goligoski to clear enough cap. Signing Addison at 1.4M, Duhaime at 1.1M, and Gus for only 1 year at 3.1M to save cap. Putting off extending Gus until next year. Gambling that Duchene is a worthy acquisition.

I'd take him on a $1.5m x 1 deal, basically because $1.5m is the max the team can spend on a FA signing. He's more winger than center now, but this is MN and wingers playing centers is just what we do. Let him center Kap for a season and bloat his stats. Then he can walk and someone will pay him a stupid money/term contract.
