What's wrong with Krebs? Hellebuyck has one year left on his deal at a pretty high cap-hit in terms of teams having he flexibility to add him. In addition, the entire hockey world knows that a.) the Jets are in rebuild/re-tool mode and b.) Helly is ready to move on.

Nothing wrong with Krebs, just saying they'd likely want a guy that's not a goalie since they have some in the system and they didn't qualify a goalie prospect yesterday who did fairly well in the AHL last season so don't think they'd want to add another though I suppose UPL could be a project/stand in for a year or two.

Yes its the Jets are in a retool/rebuild so its safe to say they'd want a pick sooner then three drafts away, that's not unreasonable for a Vezina finalist goalie and I'm not even a Helle fan.

Something like the Sabres 24 2nd, Krebs, X prospect/asset, Comrie for Hellebuyck might be a bit more appealing to the Jets, who knows with them though.
