    No team needs cap this season to hit the floor, if you were expecting cap space to come cheap because someone still needed Cap, you missed your window.

    I have a hell of a time believing anyone's going to retain on Naz's 6 remaining years under contract.

    Really interesting idea. Flames are retaining too much though, that's $17.6 million in total typically retaining $6M has been worth a first round pick. You have them retaining essentially 3 first round picks worth of salary, which is a lot.

    Basically, cool idea even though I think you have the Flames giving up/retaining way too much
