Center and D Pairs

I am confused which of those players you believe the wild would want? They have a ton of left defensemen, wing prospects, and don't really want a goalie prospect who played in the ECHL last year. If you want a player as your second line center, you have to give something significant up.

Ad Mormon said....I'll paraphrase. Coyle is very competent centre, 56 points last year, and you traded virtually 4 nothings to Wild. Seems to a Ranger theme, we want a a good centre but don't/can't give up anything.

That's the trend here lately, homerism. Ridiculous to offer 3 Ughhs for a 2 center. At least I offer up a Zib and/or KK, Grabner, Holden. Give to get. Trick is to make trade with other team involved, to see their needs.

NYR doesn't really have anything (they should trade) to get Coyle. Wild have no want/need to trade Coyle (he's on a sweet contract).

Kreider, Vesey, Zibby, or Zuccarello might get the Wild's attention. Not sure who adds what, because I dunno, and that is a different discussion. But, the trade would just make another hole for NYR to fill, so it would be a useless trade.
