That's a fair asking price for Jarnkrok (you might get someone to offer a 3rd). When it comes to Timmins, that's where I don't know if you get many offers. Its fairly common knowledge now that the leafs need cap relief, and teams might only be willing to pay a 7th to get Timmins before he inevitably hits the waiver wire. I think he's probably worth more than a 7th, but that's the reality of the situation.

yes I agree with you, if it comes down to it they could keep timmins and wait for someone to get injured either on their own or another and trade him then.

Timmins is a former 2nd rounder who won a junior championship. He also has some decent size, strength and skill. Defencemen mature at a slower rate than forwards and at only 24 Timmins offers some upside. In this scenario since there is 1.2m cap space available then it is better to hold on to him because there is room. Timmins has shown enough to take a chance on him.
McMann on the 3rd line is not really a great idea. Better to use Robertson there, at least he has some upside. McMann is a spot NHL starter at best.
At the other end of this Brodie is not worth 5m at this point to the Leafs and a deal should be made to move him out, especially since Giordano is now in the Retire at any moment stage of his career.

I'm an Avs fan you don't have to pump me up on Timmins. If Toronto weren't in cap hell he would easily be worth a 3rd round pick. But Toronto is in cap hell and that changes the market.
