Description

I think the focus for the Canes is more on having future cap to make sure they can sign Jarvis and Necas (if he improves this year...esp in the playoffs), but we are still weak at 2C and have a plethora of D, so let's make a move

Biggest issue here is that I don't think Ariz would be on Pesce's approved list.

But if it worked we improve at 2C, free up cap to lock up players

That's not even close to enough for Teuvo. Teuvo should command a 1st

Carolina don't have the RD depth for the Yotes deal anyway

Would be awfully foolish of Arizona to trade a player with term for a pending ufa who won't resign with them and is far older than their upcoming young group

That first trade doesn't happen for a few reasons. Arizona's probably on Pesce's NTC. And they would probably be looking for more futures. No point in trading one of your higher value players for a pending UFA and meh futures while rebuilding.

And I would want a little more value for Teravainen.
