13 F 7 D Lineup

One developmental strategy for running 7D that I have been thinking about for:
1. Staal/Zamula to split time with Ristolainen
2. Andrae to be utilized primarily like a "Weapon X," e.g. in Offensive Zone face-offs and on the PP.

One of the biggest concerns for this team has to be the depth down the middle for the Scoring Lines. I have divided the lines between Scoring and Checking capabilities.

Note: Couturier is in between because as ELITE 1C he will likely play a fringe scoring/checking role in a 17F/7D lineup.

However, after Couturier for our Scoring lines there is a steep drop off. Frost and Foerster, and probably Laughts and Cates, at times are the potential options and none are particularly good at the center position. Laughts and Foerster are more effective at wing and NONE are effective in the dot.
