Description
Boston can both re-stock some picks and solve the problem up the middle by taking on some massive contacts. San Jose gets below value, but recoups some picks and gets out of massive money in the long term to fully commit to the rebuild. Win win imo. Only questionable position now is backup goalie but they go competition between Bussi and Jones.

Or at all necessary.

Hertl won't get moved unless its for a huge overpay, otherwise we just keep our 1C who will still be good when guys like Smith/Bystedt/Musty are breaking into the NHL. Couture likely only gets traded if he says he wants out to chase a cup somewhere, but based on his previous comments that's unlikely.

Coyle has almost no value, Forbot has none, Lohrei is a B prospect. This is enough for Duclair with retention, not more. Couture is their captain, and his cost would probably be around 2 first and a second alone. Hertl is infinitely more valuable than that. He cost around 3-4 first to obtain.
