Description
Inspired from a post I saw going into last year. Thought I’d make my own here.

Assuming everyone’s fully healthy:
Forsberg 33g-35a-68pts
ROR 19g-32a-51pts
Tomasino 17g-26a-43pts
Nyquist 14g-25a-39pts
Novak 23g-33a-56pts
Evangelista 21g-37a-58pts
Parssinen 18g-25a-43pts
Glass 15g-29a-44pts
Gurianov 7g-16a-23pts
Trenin 14g-10a-24pts
Sissons 12g-14a-26pts
Smith 3g-11a-14pts

Fwds hot take: Evangelista is the 2nd most productive player on the team

Josi 20g-51a-71pts
Schenn 4g-17a-21pts
McDonagh 2g-15a-17pts
Barrie 12g-33a-45pts
Lauzon 5g-11a-16pts
Fabbro 2g-8a-10pts (splits time 50/50 with Carrier)

D hot take: Barrie thrives leading PP2 with ~15 points coming from that powerplay alone

Sherwood 4g-7a-11pts
Jankowski 2g-5a-7pts
Carrier 6g-12a-18pts (splits time 50/50 with Fabbro)

Scratches hot take: Carrier returns to rookie year form. Takes ice time away from Fabbro at the end of the season

Livingstone 2g-4a-6pts
Kemell 7g-9a-16pts
Afanasyev 2g-3a-5pts

Post TDL call ups hot take: Kemell gets to the NHL and has an immediate impact

In-season/TDL deals - one of Fabbro/Carrier gets moved, Barrie could also get moved

This feels pretty reasonable to me— maybe a few with are a bit optimistic, but egregious. Your lines make sense to me as well.

What are your thoughts on goaltending?

I have a feeling that we’ll see a bit of regression out of Saros. The effects of carrying this team for two years will finally wear through. I think we should see more of Lankinen. 60ish starts for Saros this year may be the best course of action. Preserve his body and let Lankinen get some reps (maybe a team wants him at the TDL)
