👌finally a 2024 ACGM with a proper number beside Samsonov. The days of getting a 4 are gone, dude is going to get paid next summer. If not by TOR another team.

My outlook is he either gets paid or I don't want him (ie he played poorly). I figure a good season from him gets a Markstrom like deal.

If Sammy excels next season his AAV starts with a 5. Just a matter of staying healthy with him.

I'd say if he plays well. If he plays great it may start with a 6.

Well for me I hope they pass then cause there are about 5 goalies worth spending money on (two will be turning 30+ on their next deals). Id rather TOR roll the dice with a cheaper tandem setup.

I would have LOVED a 2-3 year deal for Sammy this year but that’s gone.
